    Assistant Professor Hasan Halit Tali graduated from Karadeniz Technical University Math Department in 2007. After completing his MA degree in Applied Mathematics at Haliç University’s Institute of Science in 2010, Tali received his PhD degree in 2016 from the Math Department at Yıldız Technical University Institute of Science.In 2016, after having worked in the Math Department as a research assistant between 2008-2016 Tali was appointed Assistant Professorship. Hasan Halit Tali has also worked as the faculty secretary of the Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Haliç University, then has proceeded to work as the chair and now currently as the vice chair of the Department of Mathematics. In recent years Hasan Halit Tali has taught numerous lessons, among them are: Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, Calculus I-II, Computer Programming in Mathematics I-II, Functional Analysis, Data Analysis, Machine Learning Mathematics and Applications. His main research areas include; Applied Mathematics, Linear Algebra, Analysis, Mathematical Statistics and Machine Learning.

    Professor Ömer Oğuz received his BS degree in Physics-Mathematics program from İstanbul University in 1976. He earned his MSc degree in Theoretical Physics in 1978 and his PhD degree in Mathematical Physics in 1983 from İstanbul University. He also received a degree “Perfezionamento in Fisica” in Advanced School of Physics, Trieste University in Italy and he was awarded Italian Government Fellowship for this study. He visited Colorado University in 1990 and Cornell University in 1992 through NSF research project. He was appointed as an assistant professor in1986, an associate professor in 1987 and a professor in 1994 at Bogazici University. He was head of department for 8 years and Dean of Art and Science Faculty for 6 years at Bogazici University. He has started to work as a professor at Halic University since 2011. In 2004, he received the award for “Excellence in teaching” at Boğaziçi University. His research interest in Applied Mathematics includes Conformal Field Theories, General Relativity and nonlinear partial differential equations. He has research articles in published indexed journals and presentations in international conferences.

    Dr. Tayfun YEGÜL, graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics in 1978. From 1979 to 2004, he worked as a Mathematician, Research Assistant and Assistant Professor at the same department. He completed his master's degree at Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics in 1982, and then his PhD degree in 1992 at Istanbul University, Institute of Science, Department of Mathematics. He taught Calculus I, Calculus II, Calculus III, Calculus IV, Linear Algebra, Analytical Geometry, Selected Topics in Geometry, Differential Geometry, Surfaces Theory, Real Analysis, Topology I, Topology II courses at Haliç University, Faculty of Science and Letters, Department of Mathematics, where he started to work in 2010.

    Professor Oya Oğuz received her bachelor's degree in Physics from İstanbul University in 1977. She had her MSc studies on Nuclear Physics in İstanbul Technical University and earned her MSc degree in 1979. She received her Ph.D. degree on Physics from İstanbul University in 1984. She was first appointed as an assistant professor at Marmara University in 1984. She earned a promotion to be an associate professor in 1992, and moved to Yıldız Technical University as an associate professor in 1994. She was appointed as a professor of Physics in Yıldız Technical University in 1999. In 2001, she took part in the establishment of the Istanbul Commerce University, and served as a vice dean of the Faculty of Engineering until 2009. She has been working as the dean of Faculty of Arts and Sciences at Haliç University since 2009. Professor Oğuz’s research interests include atmospheric physics, gravity waves and integrable systems. She had research studies at " National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration" (NOAA) in Boulder, Colorado, in 1990 and at Cornell University's Department of Physics in 1992 as a visiting academic. She was awarded with “Science Encouragement Award” from Yıldız Technical University in 1998, 1999 and 2000.

    Dr. Nebi Önder received his BS degree in Mathematical Engineering from İTÜ in 1982.He was appointed as an research assistant at İTÜ in 1985. He earned his M.Sc degree Mathematics from İTÜ in 1985. He also recaived his M.Sc. in Mathematics from University of Warwick in 1990. He received his Ph.D. degree on Mathematics from İTÜ in 1997. He was appointed as an Assistant Professor at MSGSÜ in 1999. Dr. Nebi Önder worked as an Assistant Professor at MSGSÜ between 1999-2011. He has been working as an Assistant Professor at Halic University since 2011. He has been teaching in mathematics at Halic University since 2011.

    Dr. Serpil Cıkıt graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Physics Department in 2005 with 3rd place. She also has a minor in the Department of Mathematics. She completed her master's degree in Istanbul University Faculty of Science, Department of Atomic and Molecular Physics in 2008 and her PhD in 2014. During this process "2006-2009", she worked as a Student Assistant in the application and laboratory courses at Istanbul University Faculty of Engineering. She started working as a research assistant in the Department of Mathematics of Haliç University in 2012, then in the summer of 2014, Asist. Prof. has been appointed as and still continues her duty. She has recently been conducting undergraduate courses such as Physics I, Physics II, Integral Equations, Probability and Statistics, and graduate courses such as Integral Equations and Its Applications and Numerical Solutions of Partial Differentiable Differential Equations.

    Assistant Professor Müge Çerçi graduated from Ege University, Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics in 2008. She received her master's degree in 2012 within the scope of the Akdeniz University Institute of Science, Mathematics Program, and in 2018, she completed her doctorate in the same program and received the title of Doctor. Since September 2019, she has been working as an assistant professor at Haliç University, Faculty of Arts and Science, Department of Mathematics. Continuing her academic studies, Müge Çerçi conducts Mathematics I and Mathematics II courses in various faculties of the university, especially in the Faculty of Engineering within Haliç University, and Topology II in the Department of Mathematics. She also teaches Advanced Function Analysis in Applied Mathematics Program of the Graduate Education Institute. In addition; She took part in Vocational Mathematics II course within Acıbadem University Vocational School in the spring term of 2019-2020. Also, she continues her duty, which she started as the Assistant Director of the Graduate Education Institute in February 2020. At the same time, she is a member of the Institute Board of Directors and a member of the Institute Board.

    Assistant Professor Sultan Sütlü graduated from Istanbul Commerce University, Department of Mathematics in 2009. In 2009, she started her graduate education at Yıldız Technical University, Program of Mathematics, and in the same year she started academic life as a research assistant at Istanbul Şehir University Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences. She completed her master's degree in 2011. In 2012, she started to work as a research assistant at Haliç University, Department of Mathematics. In 2013, she started her doctorate education at Yıldız Technical University, Program of Mathematics. She continued her academic studies in the field of Applied Mathematics, on control theory and Lie theory, and received the title of doctor in 2017. In 2018, she was appointed as a Doctor of Faculty Member at Haliç University, Department of Mathematics. She teaches basic mathematics courses in the Faculty of Engineering and graduate courses in the Department of Mathematics and continues her academic studies.

    Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Deniz Türkoğlu graduated from Adnan Menderes University, Faculty of Science and Literature, Department of Mathematics in 2008. And then, graduated from Istanbul Technical University, School of Science, Engineering and Technology, Mathematics Engineering Program (MSc.)in 2013; completed his PhD in the same program in 2019. Since 2015, he has been a lecturer at Özyeğin University, Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering and Acıbadem University, in various faculties such that Faculty of Engineering; Faculty of Science and Letters; Vocational School. In 2019, Türkoğlu has been continued his studies as an Assoc. Prof. Dr. at the Department of Mathematics of the Faculty of Science and Literature in Haliç University. He also teaches "Differential Equations", "Numerical Methods", "Mathematics II", "Discrete Mathematics" to the students of the Faculty of Engineering. Academic field of his study is Differential Geometry; therefore he teaches "Analysis on Manifolds" in the Applied Mathematics Program of the Institute of Science of the relevant university.

    Dr. Hande ÇAVUŞ ARSLAN was graduated from Istanbul University Engineering Faculty Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in 2007. She completed her master's degree in 2010 and received her PhD degree in 2017 from Istanbul University Metallurgical and Materials Engineering. She worked as a project assistant at TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center Materials Institute between 2011 and 2015. In March 2015, she started to work at Haliç University. In the summer of 2016, she won the Global Intern Program scholarship from the Gwangju Institute of Science and Technology and studied in the Bio-Electronic Materials Laboratory. Dr. Arslan gives lectures on Electrical Materials, Statistics I and Statistics II, Statistics Applications in undergraduate programs and Advanced Statistics courses in graduate programs.

    Laboratory Assistant Ümmühan Dursun graduated from Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education Physics Teaching Department in 2017. She worked as a part-time Laboratory Assistant between 2014-2016 in Marmara University Atatürk Faculty of Education, Department of Mathematics and Science Education. She is currently continuing her master's degree in Marmara University Mathematics and Science Education Department of Physics Teacher Education. Since September 2017, she has been working as a Laboratory Assistant at Haliç University Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Mathematics, Physics Laboratory.

    Res. Assist. Nizamettin Ufuk Bostan received his BSc degree in Mathematics from Akdeniz University as high honor student in 2016. In the same year, he completed the pedagogical formation program of Faculty of Education at Akdeniz University. He received his MSc degree in Mathematics from Canakkale Onsekiz Mart University in 2020. During her MSc, he stayed in Japan for five months as exchange student at Kanazawa University and successfully completed Kanazawa University Student Exchange Program for Science and Technology (KUEST). He got scholarship from Japan Student Services Organization (JASSO) during this short-term study in Japan. In November 2019, he started working as research assistant in the Department of Mathematics at Halic University. He now continues his PhD in Mathematics at Ankara University.

    Research asistant Aygül Bilgin, she graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Science, Department of Mathematics at 2016. In 2019, she started her master education at the Istanbul University, Institute of Science, Department of Mathematics and still continues. In August of the same year, she was appointed as a research assistant in the Department of Mathematics of Haliç University.
